This hotel was an amazing location! The rooms are a bit smaller than the pictures look- the table in our room was huge and made it hard to get around the room. We could also hear the guests next door who were a bit loud. The lobby of the hotel is very cool and they have tea served in the evening. The staff were very kind and helpful. The location can’t be beat !!

This location is very close to Hanamikoji Street, the famous Geisha street in Gion, Kenninji Temple, Yasaka Shrine, Shijo Avenue and Shirakawa Canal. The hotel itself is very nice in the traditional interior design. I personally think this is the best hotel in the area.
