Where do I start? I like to give an honest opinion but there are so many things,
So, I will base my review on an aparthotel advertised as new being open 3 months prior.
I arrived very tired have requested and paid for a 12 o'clock early check-in.
Room booked was the Studio with Balcony.
As I sat in the lobby waiting to be able to check in there was a godawful drilling going on that was so loud my watch warned me of being in a noisy environment. I went to confirm when my room would be ready and asked can this drilling be heard in the room, they were going to give me and the answer was yes, so they had to find an alternative room for me.
The hotel went out of their way to apologise that a room wasn't ready and kindly offered me a higher up room that was away from the noise but without a balcony that i could have a sleep in, further offering me a room upgrade giving me a one-bedroom apartment later that day once cleaned.
So, the rest of this review relates to the One-Bedroom Apartment w/ Burj Khalifa View on the 18th Floor
The positives:
Great WIFI with 300+Mbps
Decent size room
Great aircon
Awesome view
The issues:
Some of these are goanna sound like I'm being picky but if you pay £213 a night for a room that's less than a year old
The apartment looks as if it was a couple of years old.
Bedroom window did not fully close allowing noise in
Tatty doors looking tatty,
