This is a good hotel close to Robinson's Mall, and 3 blocks from the ocean front. Lobby is grand and chic... But rooms are kind of old and worn out, and double beds are a bit small. However, service is top noch, breakfast is decent and good cable tv and internet in the room. It is not easy to find a good and cheap hotel in Manila. So I guess that it's ok considering the price...

It's like a prison here! Be warned!
I stayed there few nights and this is my experience. * They lock the front door and sometimes you have to run around to find someone to open it for you if you ordered food delivery for example. Is that even allowed due to fire escape route is blocked? * You are not allowed to leave the hotel if it's not emergency etc. I was stopped when I wanted to go out for dinner. * breakfast was rice + corned beef/2 sausages/fish/tocino chicken. * Staff was friendly. * Rooms are ok!

Our quick escapade in the City.
It was quite good and relaxing. The hotel staffs were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed staying in our room, the junior suite room.

Wonderful stay
Definitely enjoyed our visit. Suites were large and perfect for 3 adults. Beds were excellent. Loved the A/C in each room. The A/C worked very well when set on 17C. Noise from outside was minimal during the night and not noticeable. Also, the showers are excellent with both an overhead "rain" shower and a standard wall mounted shower. Make sure you warm up the water BEFORE stepping in the shower. If someone left the "rain" shower on, the chilled water will definitely surprise you. The building is not new, but staff does a very good job maintaining the facility. Breakfast was nice with an adequate selection of American and Filipina options. Coffee excellent. We tried the restaurant two evenings for dinner and it was satisfactory. Not tremendous, but nothing bad either. One GREAT exception was the Pasta Puttanesca which was OUTSTANDING. The spaghetti and meatballs were good, not GREAT. My companions were pleased with their selections of the Filipina dishes. The property is located is somewhat poorer area; however, it seemed safe even though a little dark at night. About half a block from the hotel is the Cowboy Grill, a lively, loud "real band", restaurant/bar that young people, out for a good time, would enjoy. For me, the music was too loud, but it was a nice, clean, safe place. Overall, I was very pleased with the property and the staff. I will definitely consider staying there again if I need to stay in that area. Just wish they had a pool.
