The reality differs broadly from the advertisement
It was a bad experience because the information here regarding the premises differs broadly compared to the actual thing. It's an old building with little or non improvements at all. The A/C didn't work correctly. Sometimes it switched by itself to hot instead of being cool because of the city's extreme warm whether. There're to many bugs inside the rooms, specifically ants everywhere. The kitchenette doesn't have a stove top. They only provide a microwave oven and a coffee maker and a sink.

The reality was fast from what it's advertised
The description of the resort here differs broadly from what in reality is. It's an old building with little improvements. The kitchenette doesn't have a stove top. It just have a coffee maker and a microwave oven. Therefore, in my case, I had to spend a lot of money in prepared meals. There are too many bugs inside the rooms, such as ants. The air conditioner several times switched itself from cool to hot air. So, the technician has to make several trips to fix it. They don't provide with an air conditioner remote control. Therefore, the room's temperature is fixed to 24°C. I don't think I'll back to this premises again for a vacation.

Run down , rooms smell of piss and mould. Toilet wouldn’t flush. Shower barely worked and wouldn’t drain. Tap leaked. Bed was hard as a rock and no wifi in room. I would only give it one star because the staff was at least very nice.

Would not stay again
They took a long time to check us in, as they couldn’t find our reservation even though I had the printed confirmation. We booked a room with a queen bed and they gave us a room with a double bed. When we said the bed wasn’t a queen, they argued that it was. Eventually we got a room with a king bed, but it was in a room with a very narrow, dangerous winding staircase to a second level. No coffee on site until 10:00. You have to walk to the Oxxo to get your morning coffee fix. Good thing we only reserved for one night.

Sad little palace
Pictures on line do not look, like the hotel. Super run down. Never did find a lounge chair that wasn't broken. Icky rooms. Clean but beyond old. 135 per night way too much.

Ok place for the rate we got
The hotel location is great. I travelled with my fiance and her parents. First trip to Ixtapa. The hotel appeas to be 10 to 20 years past its glory days. For the price in comparison to neighbouring hotels-I woud recommend. Overall I'd rather be on a beach- Acapulco for 10 dollars less a night!
