Boutique Hotel Galatea, Rome

Beautifully renovated hotel, very elegant, and wonderful location.

Excellent especially Irene at the desk not her real name she was always sweet friendly and helpful. All staff we interacted with were wonderful made us feel at home. Room small but very clean comfortable bed, great breakfast. Great location walkable to termini station, Coliseum, Trevi Fountain,Spanish steps. While a little long we walked back from Vatican City a couple stops along the way and we are both over 60.

I could not find a single fault in our stay! It was amazing! The location is perfect, you are within walking distance to the main attractions and close to a metro for vatican city. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Willing to answer any questions and provide recommendation if you like. Stored our luggage for us the day we was leaving. Also, we used the airport transfer service they offer and when we arrived at the hotel at around 11:30am we had a 5 min wait (during which they spoke to us about the city and gave us suggestions and a map) and then was allowed to check into our room early! The breakfast was perfect for us and had quite a bit of variety. The hotel itself has a lovely style and feel about it.

Very good hotel staff fantastic would stay there again

The hotel was clean the staff was nice. The only problem we had was that the air conditioning was out in our room for the entire stay. One staff member checked it and said it was too late to have it fixed ( Monday evening). They said they would send someone to fix it the next day. We came back after a day in Rome only to find our room was still 26 degrees Celsius. We spent 2 very hot nights there unable to sleep well. Also, if you are unable to climb 3 flights of stairs and you would get claustrophobic in an elevator built for one- pick another hotel. This hotel is on a cute street with a few restaurants. It was very clean.
