I will not be back to this resort
The resort is beautiful, the waitstaff is awesome and that's about it. It is damn near impossible to reach someone by phone at this resort and now I see why. I missed my flight and was a day late arriving and was told I would be able check-in in the morning. I arrived at the resort at around 11,stood in line for nearly an hour, and was told I wouldn't be able to check-in until 3. At 2:45 I decided to go back and try checking in again I waited in line about 15 minutes and was told my room STILL wasn't ready, I was pissed! The guy behind the desk said he usually tells people 3:30 I told him if I come back at 3:30 I didn't want to wait in line again by the time he finished doing whatever 3:30 rolled around and he said the room STILL wasn't ready, with no explanation, I almost lost it! Thankfully another employee came over and managed to find something for us. The staff was supposed to bring my luggage to my room said it would take a while so I ended up taking the luggage myself. The walk to my room was also a nightmare, I got lost, and the layout was very confusing at first. The room itself was cute, but smelled of mildew. The bathroom had almost no privacy and when it was time to go to bed I noticed the bedding was still damp. The unlimited food/ drinks was cool but very mediocre food, the Hunters Steakhouse was by far the worst! My sister's wedding was beautiful, even though we got rained on. She is the only reason I came to the resort, personally, I wouldn't go there again...
