Two nights in in San Rafael
The hotel was extremely comfortable and the price was right. The only two criticisms I can make was the parking slots were so tight drivers risk banging other people's car doors every time you get out of your vehicle. The only other thing was while checking out I was leaving at 6:30 in the morning and their lobby area was a small cubicle style room that you access through an automatic sliding door. As it was early in the morning it took a little bit of ringing of the doorbell to get the staff member to come out and check me out. They had coffee and snacks for breakfast but even though I handed the card through the slot outside of the building and identified myself as a paying guest she didn't seem to want to open the sliding door to allow me access to the coffee and danishes. Perhaps she was either extremely security-conscious or just paranoid but it doesn't give a guest a warm and fuzzy when the staff has to be persuaded to allow you the the opportunity to receive the complimentary breakfast danish and coffee. Those criticisms aside I really liked the Inn and would stay there again.

Place is right next to freeway, parking is limited, breakfast is limited to cereal and muffins, no fruits. Close to shopping and restaurants. Rooms were updated though small but clean and maintained.

Great, Clean & affordable.
This place is awesome - comfortable bed, clean, coffee & fridge in the room, nice room / bathroom. Try to ask for a room towards the back if you are concerned about freeway / roads noise. Room 120 is great.
