Sunday brunch
Was good. Only disappointment was with regards to sunday brunch. It was only thing available and were not able to just order off menu. Was tols if we did that then we would have to go to our room and order room service. Variety of brunch was goid but just didn't want all that. Wanted a simple breakfast.

We were at the hotel for a gala and this was the first time in 4 years that we actually stayed there. The food for the gala is always great and the hotel was clean and had everything we needed. I have stayed at other casino / hotels and they always raise their rates whenever they hold events, but I found the rates at this hotel inline with other hotels in the area which was great.

Tired and mortified
Broken faucet in shower flew off when it started. Then we were booked same floor as a boxing competition they partied security was no show 3 calls to front desk The party guests were nasty and mean we felt unsafe and we were called names in front of our child for asking them to be quiet at 3am Spoke to manager who was nice but security should be readily available or ruined our stay we left exhausted and shaken and mortified we as parents were bullied by guests in front of our child

Cold winter stay in Calgary
The general condition of the hotel is good, comfortable beds but hard pillows. Though we didn't use the water park/pool it was a fantastic place, especially for kids. When we checked in after 4:00pm on a Saturday our floor was full of housekeeping carts and various dishes and items in the hall. The mess was a bit concerning but our room was made and clean. One concern I did have was the glass beverage glasses that were unwrapped. They looked sparkling clean but I did wonder if I didn't use them were they just left for the next guest? Carting all of that glass on the cleaning carts would be very heavy, there were 4 plus 2 mugs in our room. This was just an observation I made when looking over our room. We visited while attending a wedding and when asked to be placed with the other 30 or so wedding guest we found we were all scattered all over the hotel. It would have been nice to at least all be on the same floor for visiting but that didin't happen. The temperature outside overnight was -35 C and we were able to plug in our vehicle for better starting in the morning, that was a great bonus.
