Our stay was excellent from the moment we were greeted at the entrance. We were given a welcome drink while checking in and escorted to our room by the same person who showed us the features of our room. We ordered room service because we had arrived late. The food was quick to arrive and very tasty. The next morning we went to the breakfast buffet which was excellent, with good food quality and a huge selection of dishes. I loved how fresh fruit was cut up in front of you and fresh omelettes and crepes were made to order. I cannot eat gluten and had no problem eating here. All the staff were professional and very kind to us, the could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. Pool service and food and drinks were great too. We also appreciated the staff arranging tuktuks for us. The only hiccup was upon checking out, as there was confusion with the room bill, as someone else had mistakenly written our room number on their spa bill. Obviously the name did not match so this was taken off our bill. Overall we loved this hotel and would definitely stay here again as the price per night was very cheap for what we were given in terms of quality and service.

The staff were fabulous and the hotel is excellent value for money - especially by Cambodian standards. The breakfast, which was the only meal we had was great. Generally the cost of drinks and for the dinner menu were expensive - as compared to usual Cambodian pricing (Cocktails in the USD 15 range - drink in town). Having said that the furnishings are getting a bit worn and could do with an update.

We had a fabulous time at the Borei Angkor Resort, the staff were really attentive and polite and the hotel was beautiful and we cannot fault it. The breakfast choice was very good with a wide range of options and we enjoyed meals in the restaurant and by the poolside and never had any cause to complain. Visiting Cambodia we were apprehensive about what we could eat, as many travellers had warned about eating salads and seafood, but we found that we had no issues with any of the food at the Borei Angkor and indulged in the fresh barbecued seafood and salad and had no issues whatsoever. The hotel also provided free drinking water top ups and free bottled water in the room every day, so we did not need to spend loads on bottled water all the time. Would definitely recommend this resort if visiting Siem Reap.
