Affordable central spot with lots of comforts.
Great location, we walked from the train station no problem. Walked to all the sites, including the Vatican (40 mins). Seemed family run and staff is really friendly, great breakfast service and helped us out with an early check in. Provided a handy map. Local restaurants looked great, not enough time to try them all. Room was good size for the budget. Shower a bit sensitive.

Great location and easy to walk to main attractions like Trevi Fountain and Colesseum. Room was a good size and cleaned/fresh towels every day. Luggage storage was good for us on our last day. Breakfast was also good. Toast, croissants, cheese etc. Good coffee too. Great stay. Thank you.

Older hotel. Central location. Friendly staff.
This is an older, boutique hotel bustling with old-world Italian charm. It housed one of Rome's oldest cage elevators! The room furnishings were spartan but adequate; the mattress wasn't the most comfortable. Also, WiFi signal in the room was not the strongest and interfered with working remotely on your laptop. WiFi router was installed in the ceiling in the hotel hallway. It was an unreliable and weak signal most of the time we needed it. The location in Monti was central to many of Rome's tourist destinations. It was easy walking to Piazza Bernini in 20-30 minutes. At night, we easily found many outdoor cafes and much bustling nightlife with a 20s-30s young and hip local crowd. The older hotel made up with extremely warm, friendly, and accommodating staff. Plus, the free continental breakfast with personally made capuccino each morning was a great offering. It was a great way to start our vacation each morning. Overall, this was a good value.

Very disappointing stay
The room was not clean. There was dirt on the walls. The bed was really uncomfortable, we could not sleep. In addition, the pipe in the bath was broken. The lady at the desk said they knew about it, but didn't think it's worth fixing. The toilet seat was not in its place. It kept moving, and was fixed after we said something. The breakfast was fine. Overall our experience was bad. After helped us, the hotel agreed to refund us for the second night of our stay (we didn't stay the second night, we went to another hotel).

It was a little difficult to use the metropolitana because Repubblica was closed for repairs. But Cavour want a bad alternative. Breakfast was nicely done. I was over the top happy with the terrace with my room. Room 108.
