We wanted a reliable hotel for a one night layover in Casablanca since we were arriving late with a family of four. We have stayed in about a dozen Novotel properties in Europe. This one was fine, but at the lower end of the scale compared to other properties. The bathroom fixtures were clean but the floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned thoroughly. The queen bed was very comfortable but the sofa bed was thin and small, barely adequate for two small children. The breakfast area was nice and some items were very good (eggs cooked to order, some Moroccan specialties), but quality was inconsistent, with dry bread products and broken coffee machines. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly, internet was good.

Our trip was cancelled by our travel agents due to the Covid virus and international travel being shut down and when they were contacted Novotel Casablanca City Center refused to refund our money. The cancellation was completely out of our control. Although we will be booking the same vacation in the future as soon as this virus is in better control, we will absolutely NOT be staying at this establishment. The lust for money is evident and it trumps kindness and hospitality. Buyer beware, once they have your money they will never see it again.
