This was a comfortable hotel in a good location, just 10 minutes drive to the ferry terminal and an easy walk to museum and central Wellington. I liked the fact that there was a small kitchen in the room (no stove) but a good size fridge and small microwave. Comfortable beds as well. Only negative was the parking, but we decided to use the valet parking ..$50 .... but efficient... especially for the early rise for the ferry!

Nice hotel. The view was not so good but the staff took care of us when the AC stopped working. Got great help from the staff on where to eat seafood and they also gave us free breakfast on our last morning. Oh and they park your car for you which is cool.

Great location, very comfy beds. If can provide couple cooking pans or pots, will be better. Highly recommend.

Front desk personnel were amazing when we showed up a night early and were hoping to be put into a room so we wouldn't need to move the next night! Loved Portlands downstairs!!

The location of the property is excellent for those who wish to explore on foot. The concierge services are very good and prompt at making arrangements for our wine tour of four wineries in Martinborough that we highly recommend.

The only hotel that is so close to the waterfront. Friendly staff, well look after hotel and best restaurant in town.

The room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities required. If you have to park a vehicle on your stay, it is a bit pricey. However, it is a very close walk to the restaurants on the dock.

Great location, convenient to ferry and restaurants. However room was small, somewhat dated and the smell of kitchen fried food was very strong in the lobby. In addition, we were not supplied an Internet password upon arrival and no one picked up the reception phone so we had to go down to desk to have one supplied. Also our room was over $400/ which was adjacent to a huge back lit advertising hoarding. Big price for such an average room.
