While a wedding party was taking pictures everywhere upon our arrival. We pulled under the awning next to the front door where it's normal to unload a hotel bus or limo or cab or anyone else. We were glared at like why are we their way We got to check in and were proceeded to be yelled at, called names and made to feel unsafe for approx 20 min while attempting to check in. The hotel staff heard them but chose not to impeed. The actually joined their berating. Apparently a senior citizen and a permanently disabled 5 ft wife in this scenario are not of value to this property. We told them to cancel our reservation They mocked me saying good luck trying to get a refund, its non refundable. . I called your cust service dept that took my information and then preceeded to hang up. I have not received a call back. If all funds are notreturned we will file with AARP, ADA as well as simply putting a stop payment on the charge. All correspondence should be thru email so i have your response in writing

Great hotel for families.
One of the best HOLIDAY INN hotels I've stayed. Great location. Great food and activity options for children and adults. Close to beach and other restaurants. The MAINLAND restaurant is convenient. Their food and service was great. The room was average. The rug was ripped and old.

Great stay but more info at check-in would be nice
I stayed here for a long weekend getaway with my son. The hotel was beautiful with so much to do right on the premises. We had a great time. My only issue was when we checked in, nothing was explained to me regarding the 100 fee on my credit card, breakfast hours or fees, or really anything about the hotel amenities and what was currently open or available. I know there is usually always a fee charged for any incidentals but it would have been helpful if it were explained to me when we got there. Nor did i know how much breakfast was and when it was served, things like that. I'm used to hotels giving a bit more information so that i don't have to keep asking throughout our stay. Other than that, it was fabulous!

Holiday Inn LBI Hidden 4 Star Gem
Stay was warm, welcoming from the most pleasant front desk staff, to the friendly bartenders whom acknowledged you immediately as their guest amongst a very crowded space. Enjoyed a fun and relaxing respite at the indoor pool fun and hot tub with local sister & nephew with an unexpected March Madness recap with fantastic addition of water basketball net and ball. Room had the desired appointments of alternative down bedding for a cloud like slumber. Dream room would’ve included a Bluetooth speaker for every guest’ personal phone playlist, that is just too integral today-like missing an appendage, to not be waiting for you. Could not be more pleased after a worrisome medical visit, albeit sans my daily therapeutic music. Never underestimate a modernized Holiday Inn.
