Fair review
Location and price was great for this trip and purpose. Where we experienced some disapointment is the condition of the first room we where placed in. Don't go by the photos posted! The photos posted on site show cleaner and more modern rooms which wasn't the case for our first room. After expressing our concerns, the staff gave us a new room for the next nights which was an improvement. Cleaning was one of our concern as well. We were absolutly convinced that dirty towels and dishes were not exhanged because they smelled unwhased and perfumy which made us believe it was a trend with the bedding as well. We found bottle caps on the floor and a pen cap in the bed. It makes one wonder.... Overall it was ok.

X-mas in QC
The room was very small and since it was in one of the gables the ceiling was very low as well. The bathroom was a good size, and clean. The staff were courteous and helpful.

Maybe not the Louisberg building ...
Room was small. Bathroom was very small. Toilet seat was broken. Hot water in shower and water pressure was in and out.

Waited an hour at reception, phoned no response, wasn’t till I emailed that they gave me information to access my hotel room.

Fair 4.0
The reception was unorganized as there were not enough employees for the amount of guest that arrived since the hotel was full for the night. Our room was not cleaned prior to our arrival. Our “upgraded” room did not reflect any of the advertised rooms on the website. Although one staff member was helpful, the overall professionalism was lacking.

Exceptional 10.0
week-end in Quebec City
We stayed at Hotel Acadia for two nights. We were at the Hermitage Pavilion. The room was exactly as shown on the picture. Very comfortable, the bed and sheets were impeccable, we had a little fridge in our room. It was a charming old hotel. Even though it was a very busy weekend in Quebec City the hotel was quiet. Overall, we enjoyed our stay .

I wouldn't go back
Too expensive for service offered and seasonal period. The first room they had given me was noisy because too close to reception, not very clean and small.

Poor 2.0
Inacceptable.

Small
Very small room. No fridge. Location was alright.

Great location but very small
Location is great, lots of restaurants, bars and close to promenade. Hotel is old so rooms are very small (think Paris) but was well equipped. Bed linens and bed very comfy and coffee maker in room was nice. This hotel has 3 bldgs so we had to check in at the Acadia but short walk over to Hotel Louisburg. No elevators and lots of long hallways and stairs so if mobilty is an issue, you might want to reconsider. Would give higher ranking but there was a very loud mechanical pump under our room #160 that started at 6 am til 8 am but still nice to walk out into main area of old Quebec.
