Deceiving and Disappointing
This hotel was very disappointing. The room was not clean when I arrived and due to Covid they could not clean it while I was there. They charged me twice for parking and then told me they had no spots left. After initially not believing me, they refunded my fee, but I now see on my statement they charged me twice. The room they promise in the photo is nothing like the room you are given. Beware, if you speak English they will not be able to understand any of your concerns.

chambre mal entretenu

Poor 2.0
Terrible Experience
It was a very disappointing experience right from the beginning. Our check-in took over an hour to complete due to inproper instructions provided as to which building we should go to. There is a map provided with only an indication of “building L” on a map.The map does not show which street there is an entrance to the building or which exact building it is where as they could have easily provided the building number as well as the hotel name. On our second evening there is a vent directly above the bed, upon our return in the evening the entire bed was completely drenched in water. We had to wait over an hour for there to be a resolution provided. The staff came and checked out the room and then went back to the office to let us know after another hour that we would have to change our rooms, this was not a problem however the other room was even worse. It was a double bed instead of a queen bed that we had booked and throughout the whole evening you could hear every single toilet flush that was made. Overall I would not recommend this hotel for your stay

Very Good 8.0
Beautiful and quirky hotel but smile not included.
Location is incredible. The rooms were beautifully and thoughtfully designed. However basement room needed more ventilation. Staff could be more willing to inform clients of local attractions and restaurants. When I asked the gentleman behind the desk where we should go after putting down our suitcases. He replied "Well this area is closed"and this was pretty much it.

Fair review
Location and price was great for this trip and purpose. Where we experienced some disapointment is the condition of the first room we where placed in. Don't go by the photos posted! The photos posted on site show cleaner and more modern rooms which wasn't the case for our first room. After expressing our concerns, the staff gave us a new room for the next nights which was an improvement. Cleaning was one of our concern as well. We were absolutly convinced that dirty towels and dishes were not exhanged because they smelled unwhased and perfumy which made us believe it was a trend with the bedding as well. We found bottle caps on the floor and a pen cap in the bed. It makes one wonder.... Overall it was ok.

X-mas in QC
The room was very small and since it was in one of the gables the ceiling was very low as well. The bathroom was a good size, and clean. The staff were courteous and helpful.

Maybe not the Louisberg building ...
Room was small. Bathroom was very small. Toilet seat was broken. Hot water in shower and water pressure was in and out.

Waited an hour at reception, phoned no response, wasn’t till I emailed that they gave me information to access my hotel room.

Fair 4.0
The reception was unorganized as there were not enough employees for the amount of guest that arrived since the hotel was full for the night. Our room was not cleaned prior to our arrival. Our “upgraded” room did not reflect any of the advertised rooms on the website. Although one staff member was helpful, the overall professionalism was lacking.

Exceptional 10.0
week-end in Quebec City
We stayed at Hotel Acadia for two nights. We were at the Hermitage Pavilion. The room was exactly as shown on the picture. Very comfortable, the bed and sheets were impeccable, we had a little fridge in our room. It was a charming old hotel. Even though it was a very busy weekend in Quebec City the hotel was quiet. Overall, we enjoyed our stay .
