The Claxon gave much more than I could have asked for. The hotel is exceptional, but what really makes it phenomenal is the staff. Much like it's facade and interior design, the staff seem to be the best curated collective of individuals talent could find. Laura: Thank you for serving us, and sharing your own journey and ambitions. We wish you success in your exciting future, and hope we can share a meal next time we come. Ania: You are hands on, and behind the scenes. You are everywhere, and nowhere, leaving your mark. Continue the excellent work you do, as simple a refreshing the large vase of flowers in the lobby to curating some of the most talented musicians (Elias, Julito) Cuba has to offer. Claudia: Thank you for always meeting us with a smile. We genuinely enjoyed your humorous stories and conversing with you. Claudia, your opinion (ginger tea) and guidance was instrumental to our wonderful trip. Thank you Alejandro: A charismatic man with an energetic flare that was contagious. I had an excellent stay between Claudia & andres they made this stay so accommodating. Making sure we had taxis to get to where we needed helping us set up tours. The breakfast is a 10/10. Room was clean. Wi-Fi strong. Shower hot. They have 3 bars & live music

The perfect mix of style and service!
If you're looking for a darling hotel in Havana look no further. This converted classic Casona has so much Cuban charm combined with modern amenities. What really sets the hotel apart is the staff. They helped us arrange transportation, airport transfers, meals, tours, etc and were always SO kind in responding to our many questions. Thank you Alex, Miguel and Claudia, you all are absolute angels. The restaurant on site is delicious and having breakfast in the room each day was such a nice touch. There is also a rooftop bar with live music for those wanting to extend the evening, we loved having that as an option! The rooms were exceptionally clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to several other restaurants. It's also a short walk to the Malecon and a 5 minute car ride to Old Havana. This was the perfect stay for us during our first visit to Cuba. When we return we won't be staying anywhere else! Claxon truly is a gem, the entire staff is focused on making your experience seamless and it shows. I stayed at Claxon 8 nights and was still sad to leave! Do yourself a favor and book this stylish getaway as a perfect home-base for your time in Cuba.

From the moment we stepped foot on the property, we were in awe. Not only are the staff attentive and lovely, the property is absolutely incredible. The largest room with balcony is spacious and has brand new amenities. The food was decent and the three bars/restaurants on premise are beautiful.

This is a great surprise when you arrive to this property. The street is beautiful. The theme of the property is Classic cars. Every details are incredible, done probably with great designers from a perfect renovation of the historic part to the very modern part of the rooms. Our room was very large, with high tech bathroom. Beautiful bars and court yard. Employees are extremely helpful and very kind. Far better than our expectations. Highly recommended.
