    The property is nice, great modern feel to it. However, the space could have been used better. Floors are tiled so gets really cold during winter, would have been nice to get a pair of slippers. My room was serviced however they forgot to close the balcony doors and this is during a very cold evening in New York and it took a while to warm the room up as the heat was not as efficient. The HVAC unit was so loud that it felt like a plane was taking off. Check in staff was great.

    Booking the Ravel NY

    For all people booking this hotel, parking is 35$ a day so not FREE. If you are thirsty water is not FREE 5$ for a small bottle of water.Beverages in the mini bar are over priced. Breakfast was very poor. So in general, booking this hotel is very overpriced.

    Unique hotel & friendly staff :)

    Hotel is in a fairly quiet area, but there are some nice restaurants & shops within walking distance. Room was chic, modern, clean & spacious with a nice view of the Manhattan skyline. My only complaint is that the wifi was not working, so I had to get help at the front desk. All the staff were extremely kind & helpful, particularly Edward at the front desk who helped me with the wifi and arranged a shuttle to take me to dinner.

    Great room, great spot, shuttle service was greatly appreciated along with the whole staffing team who were all very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good too. The view was breathtaking for a first timer in NYC. A bit noisy during the night with the doors slamming shut, and we could hear the neighbours talking. I wish the fan could still continue running without the a/c or heating for the white noise... the pillows were also not very comfortable.

    Bad front desk service!!!

    The overall of the hotel is good, but the front desk service is very bad in July at 11am!!! I left a small bag in the hotel two days ago, hotel informed me after I checked out couple hours, they confirmed with me that I had some essential oils and cream inside. I asked my friend to pick that up for me. I had communicated with the hotel 2-3 times before my friend picked that up. However, the hotel still gave my friend a wrong lunch bag with two cans of drinks in it. When I went back to the hotel to pick up my small bag, I told the front desk guy why didn’t they confirm the room number (my room was 105 and they gave a 109’s bag) before they gave out the bag, the front desk guy said that is not their fault, that was my friend’s fault didn’t check it as well (my friend just went to pick up my bag with the room number, he didn’t aware the hotel will have this kind of mistake)...I told him I didn’t understand why they didn’t confirm the room number before they passed the bag to my friend. But the front desk still didn’t admit their fault and keep saying that’s my friend’s fault as well.

    Ravel hotel location was good and shuttle bus was great. Wif was so unreliable. Had to use my own data. I stayed 3 nights and not one of those days, was my room cleaned. I did leave late but I was not notified that if I left after 230pm, my room would not be cleaned. I was running out of toilet paper and the floors were dirty. Towels we’re pulling up in the shower. Very disappointing Won’t be staying at this hotel ever again

    Amazing Location Close to Subway which leads to everything Staff was amazing big thanks to them for making sure we were taken care off. They also gave me an amazing location for some local pizza! The rooftop view is breathtaking! I highly suggest that you stay at this hotel. If you have any questions feel free to ask!
