Apparently newly under the ownership of Wyndham, this is a formerly Country Inn & Suites hotel (their name still graces the building and toiletries), thus the great-great-grandma style furnishings. Hopefully Wyndham will give the place an update, as it is needed. Very dated, lots of scuffed up wood, peeling wallpaper, etc. (though the floors are wood laminate, a very welcome element in a place where you'd expect gross old carpet). Very slow toilet that seemed on its last legs. That being said, it was comfortable, roomy, clean, and quiet, with a nice big bathroom counter and a decent size fridge. They were repaving the parking lot but the noise did not reach our room, it was silent and we had a pretty nice view. Great location right off of I-80. Very reasonable pet fee of $25, one of the main reasons we chose this hotel, along with excellent rate overall, which includes breakfast. Cost is sure to change if they renovate. Not chic, but perfectly fine for one night.
