Beware the see-through toilet doors!
Very pleasant. Exceptionally clean and the Reception staff were extremely helpful. We thought the bottle of wine on the table in our room was a welcome to the Hotel which we thought was a lovely touch so it was disappointing to find a 10 Euro label attached. We resisted. Be aware the toilet and shower doors are partially opaque glass - which obviously also means partially transparent! A novel experience and a little disconcerting to say the least - it is difficult to imagine anyone wanting to be seen behind the toilet door! It left us with a feeling that we had no privacy. It was unexpected and uncomfortable to have to make arrangements for the one person to sit with their back to the toilet door when the other needs to use the toilet. Not what I would expect of a 4 star Hotel. The spa and sauna were a real treat but we had not expected to be charged extra as paying guests - although when we checked it is stated in the Hotel information that it is extra so no complaints about that. The restaurant however was really top class and we felt thoroughly spoiled.

Great location but shame roof terrace was shut
Very nice hotel but disappointed to find the roof terrace shut, which was the main reason we picked it. We weren’t even informed we went up to find a notice on the door. The rooms are very pleasant with comfy beds and good shower, the only thing needing attention is the carpet which looked tired. The communal areas are lovely and the hotel has a refined ambiance to it. Great location too.
