Queensland getaway
I loved the location, right across the road from the beach, the room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable, can't wait to go back!

Lovely location and charming Victorian hotel. You can hear the ocean surf from the beach across the street. Great breakfast in the morning. A flight of stairs to our room may be challenging for some. No air conditioning but good ocean breeze and fans provided.

Fall asleep to the sound of the waves at Surfside
About a half an hour outside of Halifax, Surfside Inn is nothing short of adorable. Outside it does reflect it’s age, the late 1800’s, with modern paint. Inside revives the Victorian era (as best as possible), with wooden furniture and wallpaper walls. Clean, friendly, and the included breakfast was amazingly presented, and tasted great. They provide eggs, french toast, toast, bagels, juice, coffee, and an assortment of teas. The dining rooms downstairs are quaint, small but adorable. I will be staying here again, hopefully for more than one night next time.

Always enjoy our stay at this B&B
We have stayed at Surfside often when we visit family in Queensland. We always look forward to our stay there and have never been disappointed. Our room was clean and comfortable. In spite of the heat wave last week. The room we had this time would not be suitable for anyone with mobility limitations because of the very steep staircase to get to the room. (Rooms on the lower level are more accessible). Breakfast was excellent, and.If you choose to stay for the evening meal, you can make arrangements for that ahead of time. We have enjoyed our dinner there when staying there on previous occasions. I love the location across from the ocean and one of the best beaches on the South Shore. Staff are friendly and helpful.
