Avoid 6 guests bedroom!!!
Unfortunately this is a bad review. Nothing against the people who work there or the location. But I stayed for 4 nights in the 6 guests bedroom with my family and the AC unit was broken. It was summer in Madrid!!! No one was able to sleep. They ent is a portable fan but it was just not enough. They said they would fix it. They didn’t. On the last night, I was really upset and they allowed 2 of us in another bedroom with a good AC where I was finally able to sleep. It was a nightmare. The 6 guest bedroom is not cheap! It’s like staying in 2 smaller bedrooms. They should have switched us immediately. AVOID.

The front staff are very helping. I lost my cellphone in the taxi. The front desk staff helped me communicate with the taxi driver and got me cellphone back. I am very grateful. The hotel is in the perfect location close to all restaurants and attractions. Also there is a grocery store right next to the hotel making us very convenient to have local fresh fruits and other daily needs.

Can’t beat the location right by Plaza Mayor. Restaurants are everywhere in Madrid and this area has plenty. Restaurant Botin is 5 minutes away. Sol metro station is 7 minute walk if that. Hotel breakfast was good with a variety of meats and cheeses, breads, eggs. Our room was small but it fit our needs. Very clean.
