The hotel is in a convenient walkable location which was near public transportion as well. This is an old, preserved building. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. As mentioned by others, the bathtub is both a bane and a boon - after a long day of walking, it was nice to be able to soak in the bath. However this is quite a deep bathtub, and climbing in and out was quite precarious. The shower is also part of the bathtub - for an older person, this could be quite dangerous. The staff are lovely and polite. They are able to book transfers to the airport. I did not buy breakfast at the hotel but instead went to Cafe Louvre or other nearby bakeries. All in all, it was a lovely stay.

We had a stressful start because the hotel address on Google Maps points to the wrong street (the back side of the hotel). When I called the reception for directions, unfortunately it was still difficult to understand how to reach the hotel, and then I also struggled with the parking instructions in front of the entrance. I finally managed to find it after quite some effort. However, after all this stress, the hotel manager was absolutely amazing — extremely kind, professional, and made a wonderful gesture that completely changed our experience. Thanks to him, we immediately felt welcomed and valued. The rooms are super clean, spacious, bright, and full of historical charm. The bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was excellent with great variety and quality. The staff were always smiling, friendly, and very helpful throughout our stay. Despite the difficult arrival experience, the hospitality and quality of the hotel made up for everything. I would definitely stay again.
