Great place to Watch the Marathon
It was the perfect place to watch the Boston Marathon. We had to walk only a block to the race course. Elite runners come by around 10:30am. Catch all your running friends at the half way point, near mile 14.8 from the start. Walk across the street to the Wellesley Hills train station and catch the train to see your friends cross the finish line. Breakfast before the race was to die for, Baked french toast with apples and cranberries. Very comfortable king size bed. We will be back for the marathon next year.

Margot is a lovely host - the property is very cozy, clean, and quiet. The house is easy to find - just a few blocks from the Wellesley Hills commuter train station - and her instructions for self-check-in were very clear. She was not physically there during our stay but left many notes on how things worked (it’s an older home, so it makes sense to need some instructions for things) and was also very responsive by text with reccommendations for restaurants near by and help finding things in our room. All the amenities were clean and working (keurig, coffee maker, microwave, filtered water pitcher, mini-fridge, space heater). There were also many toiletries provided. Overall a lovely stay, would love to come back on our next quick getaway from the city.

Charming, extremely clean - and so quiet!...not at all what we expected in a B&B so close to Boston! Loved the pretty neighborhood and the surprise of it being just an easy 5 minute walk to restaurants and shops. Very much enjoyed our stay here!

Margot is a wonderful host, very accommodating and helpful. In addition to the house, she drove me to my destination, picked me up in the afternoon, and shared some of her activities in Wellesley with me. The house is lovely, in a quiet neighborhood, and very comfortable. I will definitely go back next time I am in Wellesley. .
