Layalina Hotel, Kamala

The view of the hotel was the best thing. Waking up to the view of the beautiful beach was the best ever and of course the nice staff. Although we were shocked when we got to the hire to see that the entrance is basically a little gutter in between 2 buildings like there is no street entrance and a loading area to get off the car and bring your stuff down. There was some kind of smell in the hotel as it is located before a seafood place and every time you walk in or out there was a pile of trash on the side of the narrow entrance where there are motorbikes lined up for rent. The food was okay not special and lacked spices. The room inside and walls looked old and a little worn out Although for people who are on a budget that might be a good place. We stayed for our honeymoon 4 nights there after spending sometime on Panwa beach at a much nicer and cleaner hotel and honestly we regret it. We thought by moving to a different part of the island we would see more. But it was a mistake.

We are a young couple that wanted a place that was chill but still around food, shops and things to do. this was a great location, right on the beach

Fabulous hotel ! The staff was super friendly, rooms were spacious and comfortable; and the location - literally 15 steps from the beach, couldn’t be better. We didn’t want to leave !

overall we had a pleasant stay. the main reason we chose this hotel was it's proximity to the beach. the staff are friendly and helpful. the hotel is too expensive though, I have paid the same amount and stayed at better resorts in Phuket. I can't complain on anything but will probably look for cheaper alternatives that include the same comfort next time.

Nice Hotel in nice place. Everything OK. You can stay and enjoy holidays.
