Lovely hotel amazing view
The hotel is in a great location not far off the main road. The view is amazing and the staff is very nice. The beds are a little hard but i think this is a comment to be made of most italian hotels. Our experience was a great one and would deffinately go back to Hotel Vittoria

Lovely hotel, a bit awkward to get to
Overall we were very pleased. We had hired a car to take us from Naples to the hotel, if we had taken the train/bus option, I'm not sure we would have found it. It's hidden away in a maze of streets that are not accessible by car. This also makes it quite charming. Oh -- and the other reviewers were not kidding about the 300 steps to the beach -- we're in good shape, but in the heat when you're jetlagged, it can be quite a trek. The good news is that there is an alternative. You can walk the other way around the town to get back to the room from the beach. It takes longer, but well worth it to avoid those stairs. The hotel itself is quite lovely with helpful staff and a decent breakfast. The breakfast room and our room had stunning views -- both of the town and sea. If you have any mobility issues however, I would not recommend this hotel.

fabulous balcony and view
The hotel was exactly what we expected - our son and daughter-in law had stayed there a couple of years ago. Lovely large balcony and fabulous view out to sea - so nice we bought wine, cheese, procuitto and bread and had dinner there 2 of the nights we stayed! Very clean and the staff were very accommodating - we had a very early start on our day of departure and they arranged some breakfast for us. We would stay there again. The only cautionary note for anyone not in shape - it is about 300 steps down to the beach!

Nice view of water
The breakfast room has a nice view of the hills and water below. The receptionist and staff at the hotel were very accommodating. We appreciated the porter bringing up our luggage to the top of the road. It's located near restaurants, about 15 from the main beach.

Great Hotel
This hotel is simply fantastic. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean and the staff are incredibly helpful and courteous. Staying at Hotel Vittorio was the best decision we made in our trip to Positano. We loved it here and will definitely stay here again when we return.
