The Village Lodge, Mammoth Lakes
Very Good
The very convenient Village Lodge
The Village Lodge is a short walk to the gondola to the ski resort, however the gondola was closed for our stay in May. I was informed it closed the month prior. I choose this hotel because when I stayed in February the gondola was running and it was uber convenient. Restaurants, bars and a market all walking distance. Our 3 bedroom on the 4th floor-room 1413 was very comfortable for our family of 4 (could accommodate more 3B: 1B with 2 queens, 2 other bedrooms with 1 queen each, plus 3 baths each with shower). View of pool and a bit of the snowy mountains. Front desk staff very nice.

The Village Lodge, Mammoth Lakes
Exceptional
Such a charming hotel in a beautiful location. The bed however was a little uncomfortable to you could feel the bar through the middle of your back. This staff were lovely and welcoming and ever so helpful. An evening stroll is required to take in the breathtaking view and lights

Poor
I’d expect the multiple aarm clocks in the condo to not be set for a 6 am wake up call totally unacceptable for this price point accommodation

Perfect family resort! Location,Location,Location!
First time to Mammoth Lakes, which was made more of great experience due to the resort. I would recommend no other place when traveling to Mammoth as you get the whole experience from its location. You have all the restaurants and entertainment right next to you which makes for a great view a relaxing evening on your balcony. Rooms are updated and encompass almost anything you'll need on your stay. The gondola ride up the mountain to the one of the main lodges is steps away. The hotel provides easily accessible lockers out the exit so you can grab your gear and head out at the crack of dawn with Starbucks within eyesight. Only unsatisfactory thing I have to say was the temp in the room was way to hot for this SoCal resident even with the snowy weather outside. There was no thermostat in the room to adjust. We called the front desk to send some one over to assist however no one ever came. We ended up just leaving all the windows and balcony door open. I dint ruin the trip or anything however the fact the hotel did not even acknowledge says something. Which is sad because the girl that checked us in was so nice, helpful, and laid out the land so well.
