A SOLID O.K.
Hotel didn't have coffee in room, said was on backorder. Room was in slight disrepair, a picture frame was on wall with no picture, light over sink did not work. Room was clean for the most part. Would stay there again.

Housekeeping??
We stayed here a week after another *extended stay* hotel. The room was clean, check in was quick. After a week here, we requested our room be cleaned. We requested it on the second day and again on a third day. It was never cleaned. We had to go to reception for clean towels and toilet paper twice. Nice enough facility but the housekeeping staff clearly considers this a job and not a career. They just didn't care. If I were the hotel manager, they would all be fired. Really made our stay unpleasant.

My room smelled of pet urine. Barking dogs in the next room. I spoke to staff. I was told dogs were kept on the 1st floor. This was my 2nd time to stay at this location, a week each time. Both times I was on the 3rd floor, both times barking dogs. There will not be a 3rd stay at this hotel. More washers and dryers broken than working.

Amenities at great value
Candlewood Suites offers a lot of other items that some of the other area hotels do not. Suite with kitchen and full size fridge. It's convenient to I-95, 30minutes to Hilton Head, 20-30minutes to Savannah. The hotel is clean and in good repair. They offer a small fitness room and laundry onsite included that is also clean. We had a Queen Bed Suite and it suited our needs. The only item I saw was the carpet could have been vaccummed better especially under the bed. All the staff are friendly.
