Great boutique hotel in a nice location. Close to great shopping, cafes and public transportation. Simply, but neat and clean with a very helpful staff. I was in Bordeaux during Rugby World Cup week and so the price was very expensive (over $500) but that was the market.

Excellent Hotel For Exploring Bordeaux
Great location. This hotel is excellently situated for anyone looking to explore Bordeaux. Great room. Very spacious. Great Air Conditioning. Tea/Coffee making facilities in the room. Bed and Pillows very comfortable. Bathroom/Shower all very spacious. Staff. Very friendly and polite on check-in/check-out. Decor. Very stylish. Only (minor) thing to mention is that the elevator is very (very) small. Smallest I've ever been in. How small? If Dwayne Johnson & John Cena were to get in at the same time - that's it. It is packed. I mention this, as if you are claustrophobic, this is something to be aware of. Alternatively, you can take the stairs (there are a lot).

Weekend away
This hotel has a great central location within a short walk of the bustling centre of Bordeaux. Our room was spacious for a French room, as was the bathroom. The room was nicely decorated and furnished, and included a safe, and tea making facilities. The bed was very comfortable and there was a rainfall shower over the bath. We were on the third floor at the rear of the hotel, and found that it was very quiet throughout our stay. Our daughter stayed in a single room, and found that too was a good size, with the same sort of facilities. We had to wait till the official check-in time, as our room wasn't available. We didn't have the breakfast option, as we preferred to find a local cafe, but the room looked very nice. There was complimentary water, tea & coffee available 24 hours in reception. The hotel were accommodating in looking after our cases after we checked out. Overall it was a great value stay, and we would definitely consider trying another HappyCulture hotel.

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean. The location of the hotel was great. The hotel was an old building though so I experienced unexpectedly piping noise at night. The staff was nice enough to upgrade us to a triple room which I was vey grateful. However, the floor I was on had water issue so no water for the last night stay.
