Solid hotel
Overall positive experience and would recommend with a caveat. The location is quiet and still in close proximity to grocery store and downtown. The pools and ocean access are great. Rooms are suitable (large bathroom and bedroom, small balcony) and hotel staff are superb. The beach itself is well kept and has plenty of space. It’s good for surfing (no rentals on site) but if you wander down the beach you’ll find calmer swimming. The attached restaurant is lacking - the ambiance is great and the menu appears strong but the ingredients + prep are sub par. Staff at restaurant are so-so - it’s very disorganized and more than once we had to have them remove items we hadn’t ordered.

This is a special thank you review for Danial on front of house (sorry if it is spelt wrong, I could not remember the exact way). Danial went above and beyond his job on more than one occasion. We arrived after a horrific journey caused by corrupt police which resulted in them giving us a $500 fine. Danial made sure he gave us all of the information, how to fight the ticket, the numbers we needed and other ways to inform people. He truly is a delight of a human. He made sure our stay was perfect, and even organised a room upgrade and a bottle of champagne for our engagement. A true credit to the hotel, I wish him every ounce of happiness in this world and life.
