Our stay at Athina was the most amazing experience! The staff was so friendly and absolutely the best! The view from this hotel is the best! Right in the center with Sun most of the day. The pool was heated and also had wonderful views! The food and dining here was one of the best on the island. We stayed in the honeymoon suites and couldn't have been more happier with our stay. There is a lot of steps to get to this hotel but its well worth it and would stay again in a heartbeat!

So beautiful! We had the “Petite Cave” room with a stunning view of the caldera and private heated plunge pool. Great location on the island, especially in winter where some dining options were still available. Athina’s concierge were amazing in helping plan some lovely excursions on the island, and helped arrange airport transportation. Generally be aware that stairs will be a constant on the island, and around the hotel. Can’t wait to go back!

Prime Santorini views and comfort
This hotel is peak Santorini. With an infinity pool that overlooks white cliffside buildings, the Santorini caldera, and sunset, I finally understand the type of person who goes on vacation but spends the whole trip at the hotel. The pool was heated even during the winter (rare for Santorini) and the swim-up bar was a nice bonus. The staff were exceptional. Very professional, responsive, helpful, and kind. I really enjoyed my room. I thought it was quiet, relaxing, well appointed, and ultra clean. I appreciated that the hotel had wash cloths because not a lot of hotels in Greece do. The shower was nice and big and the toiletries smelled amazing. I also really enjoyed the extras like slippers, robes, pillow firmness menu, etc. I thought the outdoor restaurant was pretty good aside from my salad being overdressed but it had an unbeatable sunset view. The only potential negative thing I would have to say is that because of the prime cliffside location of this hotel, it’s not great for accessibility. I personally had no problem but was surprised to learn I would have to climb A LOT of stairs to get from the hotel back up to the street. Luckily, the staff are more than happy to help carry your luggage. Overall I thought this hotel was a great price for the rooms and service. I wish I could have stayed longer and will definitely be back!
