Canadians treated poorly
Breakfast buffet not good, very few choices, food not appealing. Requested wake up call 2nd morning, did not receive it. When told front desk about it they said they called, I said we did not get call they said well phone must be broken. No apology, no care that we were very inconvenienced, very apathetic. Felt ignored and not important as a guest. Would not recommend staying there.

Upgrade!
We were upgraded to a newly renovated 4 star hotel down the street, belonging to the same chain. Too bad we were only passing through.

Impero Rome
Would definitely recommend. Staff were excellent, place was clean, everything worked, great location to the train station.

Room was clean were you could see but overall very basic and no kettle in the room. Booked a superior room which you could not swing a cat in and had a cracked bath therefore requested to be moved with resulted in moving between three hotel rooms in less then 30 mins. Breakfast is included but hot drinks are lukewarm and the toaster is not worth the electricity it uses (to toast a slice of bread would properly take 15 mins, I gave up after 5) this leaves breakfast as essentially cake, pastries covered in sugar syrup to make them last longer, a very few cold meat slices and cereal. The hotel is in good walking distance of the station and a slight walk to most landmarks this was my third trip to Rome but this hotel is not for me and I expected more from the hotel due to their pictures and official website but maybe they were taken a few years back and need to reflect the hotel in its current state

Avoid this hotel
I booked in here for 3 nights but left early on the second day. The room was awful with 2 small hard single beds and smelled disgusting. It definitely looked nothing like the pictures on the website. I won't be back. 😠

Great stay in Rome
Fantastic short break in Rome. Managed to check in early as the room was ready so no need to carry luggage around. Breakfast was nice with a good amount of choice . Room wasn’t huge but adequate for what we needed. Not far from the main train station and almost next door to the opera house. Friendly staff and would happily stay there again.
