Good Hotel .. VERY loud.
The hotel is very modern and nice, the staff were extremely helpful at the front desk. We stayed for one night and got NO sleep, the streets were very loud and the A/C didnt work so we had to leave the window open, also the walls were paper thing so we could hear everything. Maybe in another room we would have had a different experience.

A pleasant stay at Ibis London Blackfriars.
We had a pleasant stay at Ibis London Blackfriars. It was a bit expensive, as I guess it is in London, and the lack of an in-room safe and fridge reduced the experience for us. However, the hotel is in a good and safe location, quiet, very clean, and we enjoyed the restaurant even though we didn't discover it until the last day. We were there for 5 nights. Metro is only a block away and some major tourist spots on the southside of London Tate Modern, The Globe, even The Shard, are within walking distance.

The room and location were great. There was however, inconsistency in the price quoted when I requested price for additional nights at the front desk with the price going up considerably within approximately 1 hr. I was also quoted additional cost for the taxi to the airport even though it had been explained by a different staff member and the taxi that it was a set price . When I questioned I was told it was for the luggage (!).There was 1 bag. The amount was not huge but on principle it left us feeling taken advantage of. When questioned they retracted by stating they would book another taxi. Though the location and room were great I would not recommend.

This is an Excellent Hotel.
The hotel and staff were both excellent. Our room was immaculate and comfortable, as was the rest of the hotel, which is well situated. We had a very pleasant stay. The breakfast is under-explained, I think. Eggs, meat, pastries, fruits, cheeses, yogurt and cereal. We wanted for nothing.
