A Diamond in the Rough
This was the perfect hotel for my husband and I’s unexpected 1 night stay in Rome. Although the wallpaper is peeling, the plaster slightly cracked and the decor dated; the room was large and comfortable. More importantly the service of the staff was impeccable. He was welcoming and friendly and accompanied us to our room to make sure everything was clean and in order. Once we got cleaned up and ready to explore the city he also took the time to show us on a map the best places to see and the best routes to walk. The hotel location is perfect right in the heart of the city. Our rate was less than half of most of the other hotels in the area so the value was incredible. We will definitely be booking our stay here again the next time we return to Rome!

Marginal at Best!
Location was very nice. Easy to get to most major attractions. Hotel was OK at best. It was 95 degrees and we had No Hot Water for 2 1/2 days so we couldn't shower. Compensation for that piece was a joke. Breakfast area was below average. Pictures look much better then it is. It was pretty cheap so what can you expect. The staff was very nice though!

Great location and value for money
Hotel St. Moritz was perfect for what we were looking for. We knew we would not be spending much time at the hotel so it was great value for money. The hotel itself is on the second floor but there is a lift if you need it, the room we were in (5) could have done with a little updating and was a little bit of a squeeze especially in and out of the shower. Other than that it had everything we needed. We felt the breakfast choice was limited and could have been made a whole lot better (for us anyway) with some sliced bread and a toaster! The coffee was great though! The staff were excellent and always there to help. Location wise it's great, walking distance to some of the sights and a 5 min walk to Republicca Metro station.

Convenient, older Hotel
Please note that this Hotel considers itself 3 stars - I would say it's a 2 star at the most- and therefore, you have to pay $4 per person, per day new tax imposed on 3 star hotels !?. Clean, convenient but that's about it. The lobby is 2 flight of stairs up and although there is a lift, I wouldn't rely on it.
