An excellent family vacation
A really nice hotel, in a great location and friendly staff. We stayed as a family, with two teenage boys. Many of the sites were in short walking distance from the hotel. It has lots of character and fitted our needs perfectly.

The bedroom was clean and the host was accommodating. The breakfast was also good for the cost, however the steps were wooden and quite noisy so it was difficult to sleep when people are using the steps

Lovely hotel and very comfortable stay
This was the best hotel in Rome! Julia at the front desk was so kind and friendly. The bus stops just 100ft from the hotel and there is a stop across the street half a block down that we took to get to the Vatican with a transfer. Very great location we walked back to the Roma Termini station on our check out maybe 7 minutes. The hotel itself is very old and apparently it used to be a convent! The room was very large and spacious for our family of 4 with 3 separate rooms and two bathrooms. The breakfast was a large variety of fruits, some cereals, pastries, hard boiled eggs, juices and coffee. The front desk is there 24 hours which made our stay feel secure. They also offered a luggage hold but we didn’t need it since we left early in the morning but it is a great amenity to have if we had needed to stay in the city longer and have a place to keep our luggage after check out. We all really enjoyed this hotel and would stay here again!

Nice hotel in convenient location
Spent four nights at the Hotel Giubileo in August: Pros: - Convenient 5 minute walk to the train station, but it did not feel like one of those scary train station hotels. It was in a nice location just down the street from a beautiful Basicila. The hotel is located in an old monastery, so it has a quaint feel. The hotel is also walkable to many of the historic sites in Rome, if you don't mind a little longer walk. - The staff was great. We had to leave early one morning, so they set up breakfast a half an hour early just for us. They were also responsive on some maintenance issues. Cons: - Small room: I've come to expect small rooms in European hotels, but there just was not much room to walk around if you have a couple of suit cases. - Maintenance issues: We ran into some problems with the shower drain running slowly and the window air conditioner dripping water into the room. However, I mentioned to the staff and they were very good about fixing the problems.
