Solo in Paris-5th
Fabulous location for me. 50 steps to the RER to CDG, tiny grocery store across the street, oodles of brasseries and cafes, 50 steps to Luxembourg, convenient, safe lots of buses. Great staff. Nice room. Slept like a baby.

An Older hotel with clean a room that could use some maintenance work. Location good next to the RER with direct train to Musée d’Orsay, the Eiffel Tower, and to CDG airport, Contrary to claim, the hotel did not have any guest wifi available at all. Everyday they would tell us the wifi would be repaired the following day. Not glamorous but functional. We missed the fact that their really wasn’t an area either in the room or in a lounge to sit back read or rest but their are plenty of cafés and terrasses in Paris where you can take a break. We found the lack of wifi frustrating as we could not communicate with family and friends as planned.

It's an okay place
This hotel is in fair condition. It needs a bit of paint/updates/new carpet/etc. The bathroom was clean and the bedding was clean. The mattresses were hard as a rock, they had no give at all. It was like sleeping on the floor. The drain in the bathtub did not drain very well and when I mentioned it to the front desk, nothing was done about it. The toilet would not flush unless you flushed it three or four times. The hairdryer became very hot when used...and almost too hot to hold to dry my hair. The area is very very loud...we had to sleep with our window open because the heat would not shut off. The room itself was a good size (we had 3 single beds) and the internet was good. And the service was good too. There is a computer available to print boarding passes and such. There is an elevator, so that was nice since we were on the 5th floor. The breakfast was disappointing. This was the last leg in our Europe trip and needed laundry done but their prices were insane for laundry service! So we walked 3 blocks to the laundromat and did our own. Very close to buses and the RER, so that was convenient. Overall, I would rate this hotel a 2 star.

When I booked, the website gave the hotel a 4.3/5 and I based my decision on that. It was a disappointment. The hotel was tired, in need of paint and the carpet in our room was dirty. The clean staff improved after our complaints. Good attributes: Breakfast was good and the front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Bathroom was updated with good quality fixtures. Overall, difficult to accept since we stayed 6 nights. The website misled us. The hotel is what it is, I'm not happy with hotels.com

Good one.
This is a good hotel. The staff of the hotel was friendly, helpful and professional. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. I could see the Eiffel Tower from my window. The Luxembourg Gardens were a few minutes walk. I would recommend this hotel.

We were so happy with the room that was given to us by Esther. She is the manager/ receptionist who was so welcoming and gracious to answer all our questions. The room was magnificent and so was the service. I would like to mention Liana who was also very helpful at check out. It’s a small quaint hotel and close to the pantheon.Breakfast was good too. I will stay here again...

Overcharged for an Inferior Room
When I booked on Hotels.com I chose twin beds and a room with a balcony. A couple of days before we arrived I got an email from the hotel telling me that to get twin beds I would have to upgrade to a superior room and pay an extra 20 euros per night. I wasn’t happy about this but said okay. The “superior” room we got was nice and remodeled but very small. But then for our second night they moved us to a room that lacked a balcony and that wasn’t remodeled. When I checked out I told the clerk I should not be charged an extra 20 euros for the second night as our room was not a superior room with balcony. The clerk said he could do nothing about and that only the manager could so we paid and left.
