Amazing views, quiet location, super nice staff
The noise isolation between the rooms is terrible. I could even hear when someone sneezes in the next room. The staff is super friendly and super helpful. The view from the sea view room is amazing.

Very Good

Good
The staff try their best and views over Nice are great. However their are major issues for a hotel at this price point: -the bathrooms are dated with a single shower head over a small bath -The swimming pool is a plunge pool at best and mosquito bites are a major problem among the greenery which surrounds the pool -with limited exceptions the balconies are Juliet-you cannot sit out with two people -It is on a hill with a 30 minute walk to the seafront, and many guests we spoke with were using taxis 4 times a day. Like I say the family run business tries hard, but standing still is not an option in a competitive world and the hotel needs investment urgently.

Location
Be prepared for the uphill walk. In residential area so 10-15 min to nearest shop or bar. Pool has very limited sun.

A wonderful, tasteful hotel in Nice.
We enjoyed a wonderful time at Le Petit Palais, the owner and staff members were all delightful, charming and welcoming. The garden and swimming pool area are delightful. Early evening cocktails and morning breakfast were enjoyed in this wonderful garden setting which was perfect.
