    Hotel am See

    The location of the hotel at the lake is very nice The surroundings of the hotels are very lively during daytime. The restaurants and shops close early, so in the evening the area is desolated. The hotel is somewhat dated and typical German traditional chique. We stayed in a renovated room, which was very nice. The room was well laid out and we had a spacious bathroom. We had noise from suppliers doing early morning deliveries who woke us up early; we couldn’t control the room temperature; even with the windows open at night it became an uncomfortable 27 degrees in the room. The duvets were too warm for the time of the year. We loved the infinity pool/beach area. The service was also great. Nice ladies behind the bar. The restaurant was okay. The food was good. The choice on the menu limited. The terrace at the lake was nice. Although a lot of wasps… so you had to be careful. What we didn’t like was some of the experienced staff members; some of them were rude and unfriendly. They made you feel as if you were intruders to their “place”. We would like recognize one person: Gola. He gave outstanding service, was very friendly and forthcoming. Kudos to him.

    Das nächste Mal werden wir ein anderes Zimmer buchen, da wir jetzt nicht zufrieden waren. Am Kopfende hingen unhygienisch Dekotuecher, die wir sofort entfernt haben. Ansonsten würden wir uns wünschen, dass beim Frühstück nicht so viel Wurst angeboten werden würde.
