Stay here
Great location very cool vibe and decor. They were extremely kind and let us check in early which really helped us have the best possible time in Munich. The breakfast is worth every dime!

Overall pleasant stayvbut very loud at night.
Generally a great place to stay in terms of location, affordability and comfort. However, extremely loud at night and very difficult to sleep - at least where I was placed.

A little noisy during the night due to people outside having a party till quite late but otherwise fine.

Good value hotel
Very convenient location, good value breakfast with large selection of fresh food. Loved the decor and modern creative sitting areas near reception. The only thing we (two same gender friends) did not like, was the 'all clear glass' shower. Even the pull across 'curtain' did not provide 100% privacy. Overall, a comfortable hotel.

Unique clean hotel, sketchy area
Unique hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. A bit overpriced due to Oktoberfest, but I guess that is everywhere. Something to note- it was in the area of about 4 - 5 strip clubs within 1 minute walking distance so something to keep in mind for families. Parking garage was available but I parked somewhere else before I found out about it. Good place for adults to stay but not recommended for families. Shower was waterfall style which is cool.

The hotel is okay. It is described as "chic" but it is clearly an old 50s/60s era office or apartment building that has been converted to a hotel. My room was on the 6th floor -- the elevator goes up to the 5th, so you have to take the stairs for the final floor. Not a huge deal. But the elevator is also very old, slow, and small (fits 3 adults with some luggage), so wait times are inevitable. As for my room, it smelled a bit of old cigarette smoke. Instead of standard curtains in the bedroom area, the window had two decorative felt mats hanging from sliding rollers. These were totally fine and an interesting alternative to curtains, except for the fact that the window was large enough to require three of them for full privacy. So two alone could not block out all the light or the views from the building across the street.

Nice inside, noisy outside
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The building was clean and decorated with bright green and trees on the walls. They offered a nice breakfast spread (cheese, meats, fruits, yogurt, breads, muesli, juices, coffee, eggs). Room is small and compact, but bed comfortable. It would be nice if there were towel hooks. The only downside is the location. It is very close (walking distance 10-15 min) from Oktoberfest which is why I choose this hotel. The surrounding areas however are full of strip clubs and hookah bars and while I didn’t feel unsafe, I got the impression it wasn’t the best neighborhood. It was also very noisy outside until 2-3am, even on weekdays. This may be because of Oktoberfest, but again, we were still a 10-15 min walk away.

Awesome stay!
This place was so cool! It was about a 30 minute walk from the city center which was very doable. The walk felt safe too in the big city. The only problem we had was the internet went out a few nights of our stay and we couldn't use it, but it always worked during the day. I loved that there was a bar in the hotel for coffee and drinks! We didn't realize until we left that if you skipped room cleaning you got a $5 per day voucher towards the bar. We were able to get coffees on our way out though! The staff was also very friendly. We got a bottle of wine and desserts to have in our room one night and they let us borrow what we needed from the kitchen even though it was closed! Definitely would stay again if in Munich!
