We were pleased with the location of this hotel. It was clean and the room was spacious, and pretty quiet, with some street noise. I've stayed in a lot of B&Bs and this one looked decent and kind of quaint, inside and out. We were sharing the toilet and shower, but had a sink in our room. So the old and kind of broken down wardrobe and other furniture didn't bother me. I knew the wi-fi would be spotty, but my daughter bought a sim card with data when we arrived in London, so we were good for wi-fi. And I can handle a rock hard bed. (The double.) The blankets were pretty old/well used, but the sheets were clean and crisp. My daughter, however, found herself navigating the springs on her single bed to get comfortable. So it wasn't really what we were looking for in beds. And though I was told (by the owner) the wrong hour for breakfast when we checked in, I did get to the dining area for "breakfast". I was offered tea or coffee, 2 slices of white toast and a packet of not-very-good marmalade. Is this really what constitutes breakfast in London B&Bs? We were really let down and disappointed by the breakfast, and surprised Merlyn Court can advertise itself as a B&B. The people in the hostel across the street looked like they were eating very well...

It was an excellent stay. The only regret was unavailability of WIFI and their breakfast was not enjoyable

Basic accommodation close to underground
Exceptional location (easy walk to Earl's Court station - excellent access to central London & Heathrow) at a much better price than other hotels in the same area. Only tea / coffee & toast for breakfast, but it's enough to get you through to lunch. WiFi only near office and during office hours. Beds very firm, but got a good sleep anyway. Hosts were very helpful and accommodating.

Not Recommended.
There was an overpowering smell of dog in the hallway. The room was nice and clean but we couldnt sleep much as the radiator was on all night and it was too hot. There was'nt a kettle in the room and so, there were not any tea making facilities.

You get what you pay for.
Not bad, nice service. Too hot without air, windows didn't open very far. Watch internet service, the sketchy guys who hang out front hacked our computer. Or someone did....

Classic B&B
The owners are lovely, family run business. It’s a traditional experience, tea/coffee and toast for breakfast. Our room was clean and tidy, secure and safe. The bathroom was down the hall and was always available. Although it’s not new or modern and in need of a renovation it is what it is and it has character and charm. We were delighted with our stay and felt welcome. All the other patrons were lovely also as everyone tended to meet in the Breakfast room each morning.

Ok. Basic accommodation.
Basic accommodation. Clean and respectable. But if you need to adjust the temperature, tough luck. Too hot, tough luck and couldn't get enough airflow to help. Bit fed up with toast, only gave you margerine. But tea good and Landlady very nice and enthusiatic

We stayed 2 nights, the room size is fine, but the bathroom is so tiny, and the beds are too soft. The second day when we came back from the day trip , our room door was open, luckily nothing is lost.
