Middle of the road
This hotel was neither great not absolutely horrible. They could do some simple things to improve such as provide an ice machine and snack/drinks machine for guests. London had record high temperatures during our stay and, as there is no air conditioning, it was intolerably hot in our room. It made it very difficult to sleep. The ability to have something as simple as a cold drink would have been nice. We stayed in a room with two twin beds. They were really cots and the mattresses collapsed when you sat on the side of the bed. They also had springs sticking up and squeaked every time you moved. That and the heat did not make for a pleasant experience. European hotels are going to have to spring for air conditioning given rising temperatures or lose business. That being said, the hotel was clean and in a good location with easy access to the tube. I had a friend who stayed here previously and recommended it. Maybe other rooms are better. Just stay away from the twin beds!

Great location for a short stay
Room and bathroom very tight but expected for the price in London, we spent most of the time out and about anyway. Location was fantastic for both tube and eurostar travel. Staff were very helpful and accommodating despite being in the middle of a heatwave - the fan was a life saver!

A unique Hotel that was 5 Georgian era Homes.
This Hotel is unique as it's 5 Georgian era homes are made into this Hotel . We were lucky that our room was on the ground floor as there are no elevators in this place and it's four stores.high . Our room as I was told is the largest room they have . Which was is perfect for us as we are traveling with our daughter. This Hotel is in a perfect location just off the Main Street from the nose of traffic. It's a short distance from Train station for you to catch or for us getting off train from Paris or Brussels. The Metro or what Londoners call the tube. Is one of the best way to travel around London. There are plenty Restautant and Pubs to eat at including the train station. The Pub McGlynn’s is next door to Wardonia is very good but is only open Monday to Friday for meals. The Skinner Arms on Judd Street is a really good place to at eat. Or Burger King down the street for the kid is there too. This Hotel is unique with its own style. Speaking of our room has two beds a double and a twin beds perfect for three people and very comfortable .For larger family get two rooms. The bathroom was the most interesting and a way good setup in our room . It is setup in as two little rooms one with a toilet and sink and the other with Shower and sink , which was very helpful when getting ready in the morning. The sinks are the smallest one I have ever seen . But service to purpose. The rooms and Hotel is kept clean. A very good stay .

Location great, cleanness very good, size awful.
Location is great, 5 min from King's Cross. Room was clean, towels changed every day and room had all the facilities described in the advert. En-suit was rather recently refurbished, all in proper working order. However, the space was too small even for London hotel. The bed and en-suit were squeezed into 2.2 x 3 m space, it feels extremely claustrophobic!

Stayed here many times, always clean and with quick check in. Not a 5 star hotel, but well priced and great location.

Good position but hotel is ancient
The hotel’s position is very convenient just minutes away from King’s X and the area is quiet and seemed safe. The staff was very friendly but can’t saw the hotel was great. It’s on 3 floors with no lift, looking ancient. While the small size of the rooms is expected, our main issue was that the old windows wouldn’t close properly and a strong draft kept coming from under the bedroom door: two cold nights later, we’ve got a cold. The beds were also very uncomfortable. We won’t be back and will be willing to pay a little more next time for a decent night’s sleep.

3 days in London
It was in a great location close to the train station. Near the hop on off bus too. Stairs were narrow and we were on the 4th floor so glad we had carry on luggage. Small but convenient bathroom.

Good Value in London
Perfect place for a quick, inexpensive trip to London. Staff was wonderful. Rooms are small but comfortable. My room was a little cold but the great people at the front desk gave me an extra blanket, so all was good. Definitely will come back.
