Fine Value, smelly toilet
The location for the value here is amazing! We were so close to St. Pancras and King’s Cross. The room was basic, but just fine. The heater worked well, and there was even an extra space heater and fan in the tiny closet. Our only issue was the bathroom. I’m not sure if it was an old drain, or poor cleaning, but every time we opened the bathroom door it was like stepping into a public port-a-potty in summer. Just an overwhelming smell of urine. The actual pressure and temperature of the shower was nice, but you really just needed to hold your breath until you got the shampoo smell into your nose.

Great location but I will not recommend to anybody
I stayed there one night for business. The reception staff was very rude. I had to go up narrow and dark stairs with my suitcase to get the small and dusty room on the 3rd floor. The room was very cold as the central heating was not working well. I could hear everything my neighbour did. Dirty coffee cup and kettle. One thin towel provided with some dirty spots. There was a paper bath mat in the small bathroom but it was useless because it got soaked after I took a shower. Light breakfast served and the staff asked me coffee or tea. I ordered a cup of tea but it did not come after 20 minutes, even though I asked for it twice and it wasn’t that crowded. Location was great but I don’t think the whole experience justifies the price. I will not recommend to anybody. ロケーションは便利ですが、狭くて寒く、清潔さに欠け、最低限のアメニティも揃っておらずスタッフも不親切。朝食で紅茶も出て来ませんでした。全くおすすめしません。

Would stay here again, but would request a lower floor as i struggle getting upstairs. Friendly and courteous staff.

Tiny rooms but clean
*Tiny* rooms and no elevator (which I was aware of before booking). No landline phone in the room, nor are there those “do not disturb” door hangers, which lead to housekeeping nearly walking in on me one morning. Location could not be better if you have a morning train to catch!

Convenient but basic and cramped
Four bed room basic and small, a bit tatty but clean, shower room really tiny. Basic breakfast Convenient as we needed to stay to support a relative's operation in hospital, to which we could walk. Also v close to Kings Cross. Would have liked a resident's lounge

Location perfect
We loved the location, close to many transportation opportunities, and price for the room was very reasonable. The room was perfect. Clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious and served with a smile. Our special requests were satisfied. Had a wonderful stay. Manager was especially patient when i blew a circuit plugging in the wrong device. Had problem fixed quickly.

Not impressed
What this hotel has going for it - location, for sure. It was very close to St. Pancras. And the service at breakfast was very nice, and there was a a nice English breakfast provided. However, we would not stay there again and wouldn't recommend it. Our room (#7) was a decent size, but the twin beds were quite hard. That wasn't a deal breaker, however. It was the bathroom. Not only the tiniest bathroom I have seen (and I have seen some very small ones at similar hotels in London), but in terrible condition. The miniscule sink wouldn't drain water, so we had to turn on the shower to brush teeth, wash hands, etc. The floor and water damaged door looked pretty gross. The "bath mat" was a piece of paper, which was useless.

A bit disappointing breakfast. A very small breakfast room where you may have to wait for a long time to get seated. It's not bad but I would rather go with a room without breakfast and have the breakfast in a cafe nearby.
