The stay was ok. You all just need to really update the property inside the rooms, which I understand you all are currently doing. The furniture was dirty or at least gave a dirty look due to being so old. Pull the carpet up and just do tile. You all have a private beach, in a beach town, and have carpet...absolutely terrible idea

Great trip!
I was very hesitant to book this room based on the reviews but I am glad I did. I saw a lot of reviews about check in being a nightmare and/or rooms not being ready. That was not the case for us, we got in at 4:20 and were in the room by 4:30. The desk staff was amazing. We had every thing we needed in our room such as coffee, towels, toilet paper, and Kleenex(saw a review upset they had none) Our room was clean and I feel like I got what I paid for. Yes these are hotel rooms but mine was just as described. The pools were clean when we went. The only restaurant we tried was the pool bar and that was great! We did drive over to the main building to do anything over there since we were in building 6. I do not recommend walking that far in the heat but I had no trouble finding parking so I didn’t mind. I saw a lot of reviews about being able to hear everything in the room next to you but we didn’t have that issue at all. I feel like as long as you understand they are doing renovations and things aren’t perfect you’ll be happy here. I will definitely be back! I just wanted to leave a good detailed review since the only detailed ones I saw were the bad ones.

It was just ok. I think it will be better when the property is fully renovated. Both rooms were not ready at check in time. There was a long line to check in. The elevator were not working in our building and we were on the 4th floor. Room was dated. Carpet and furniture were dirty and spotted. Bathroom was clean and well stocked. We ate at Flip Flops and the food was good but the wait was long. All staff were friendly especially the front desk. Pools were dirty by the end of the day and not lighted well at night. The coffee shop was out of a lot of items and so ordering was limited. Shower from the private beach was broken. Check out was quick. I would give it another try if it has better reviews once renovations are complete.

This resort in not a very clean one. Bathrooms tub was gross, we never had hot water, just warm at best. Dishes that were put away in cabinets were dirty. stains on carpet. we had to go out and buy our own toilet paper. The pools were not clean or even clear, they had cloudy water, and the pool deck had trash.
