Mixed review

Lots of police action many times in the night outside on the street. Police taped area in the morning. Very rough area but interesting (cool area). Lots of young people, loud noises all night long. The window air conditioner made it such that the window could not be closed to reduce noise. The room was clean and kept well. The bed was worn out. The hotel is simple. We were greeted well by a young man when we arrived.

VERY HAPPY CAMPER

This is my second stay here and I must say that the reason why I chose to stay again is because of the abive board professional encounter with the young lady guest service clerk. She's very friendly, professional and patient, and also helpful. My room was very clean comfortable. Great place to unwind and feel safe. KUDOS TO THE LE SAND AND STONE FOR A JOB WELL DONE!!

Front desk manager/hotel manager is a very understanding and companionate individual. He makes sure your stay among them runs as smoothly as possible. Hotel is lovely and the location is unbeatable.

Good enough for what I needed!

This hotel was a 'get what you pay for' hotel. I had to stay there because it was right next to MTelus and I needed to be as close as possible. This is not a lavish hotel, but it served it's purpose, it was worn but clean enough, and the gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful. It is not in a good area of town, but I felt safe and it did the trick. It was cheap and served it's purpose. If you are looking for luxury this is not for you. If you are looking for an affordable stay in a location close to everything down town this is the place for you. It was noisy and I could hear the music from next door all night long, but I researched this and brought earplugs. It served it's purpose and if i need accommodations right next to MTelus I will book again.

For the price and location its hard to complain but i walked into a room with no towels and the remote controls for the tv were missing. Both were provided immediately upon request. Main issue was a gap in the window. -16°C and air leaking into the room was really bad and someone else at reception had the exact same issue. This also meant i fot all the noise come through at night from crackheads, snow plows, and emergency services. Staff and location were amazing though

The stay was okay! Don't expect much from the hotel and you'll have a good time. Ask for earplugs at the main desk, since walls and windows are poorly insulated.
