Great old town location very near the main railway station. Fabulous charm with the house mascot, Louis, the dog and the neat cow, Heidi. The restaurant is very nice with very well prepared meals. The room was great with a good view of the square beside the hotel and a very comfortable bed.

Beautiful hotel right in the heart of the old city
We arrived after a long flight from Canada and were very tired and hot. Maya set us up in a little seating area with cold water which really helped revive us. We stayed in the family room which was large and comfortable with a seating area and ample space to move about. Everything was in walking distance from the hotel.

The location is great, right in the Old Town and close to the Lake, churches and all the interesting sites. Limmat river is right next door. The downside is, because it's central and close to bars and restaurants, it's very noisy. And since there's no AC in the room, when it's hot outside, it can be real stuffy and uncomfortable inside. Breakfast is good though, and my room was quite clean.

Nice hotel in great part of town but no air conditioning. They did give us a fan but when it’s 40 degrees, fans don’t do much. Otherwise a really nice hotel.

Recommend Hotel Adler
It is a perfect hotel in many regards, clean, central to food, entertainment, shopping, history . The best part was the front desk clerk, Jasmine, who made it possible for me to check in extremely early. I arrived at 6:10am ...6 hours before standard check in time. I was exhausted from a long flight from Jo’burg . Through her kindness and efforts, I was able to check in by 8:30! That kind is service makes ALL. The difference!
