Some very distinct pros and cons: Pros: Amazing and very attentive staff. Convinient location. Cons: tiny room. Window looking into very small courtyard, makes you feel claustrofobic. Very hot inside the room when it was only +12C outside. To cool inside the room you have to turn aircon but it is extremly lound and disturbs sleep. Openning windows do not help as the no actual outside air coming in. Not good soundroofing, you can hear everything going on in the hall Only two towels provided for 2 people in the room. bathroom amenities were never refreshed during our 3 day stay. Aweful pillows that gave headache to both my daughter and I.

Very Good
Great location
Great location, walking distance to a lot of great spots or subway is right there as well. Our room was inward facing so not much of a view but we weren’t in the room much anyways.

Fabulous Suite
Suite with large terrace and spa was fabulous-although room a little small. Great bathroom as well. Fabulous staff, free wifi and great tea every afternoon

Great hotel and location
Near the port area and Las Ramblas, this hotel is also situated across the street from a little park. The room was lovely and well kept. The staff was friendly, especially Canadian born Kyle. He was the only one to give my a bucket of ice from the bar and also arranged a "take away" breakfast for us when we had to leave early for a day trip prior to breakfast being available. Location was great. Only complaint is that the breakfast, 13 Euro per day per person if you have it each day, was cold and expensive.

Ottocento Alberga - a hidden gem!
This is a smaller hotel and although the rooms are small it's more than compensated for by its great location with very friendly and helpful staff. We had a wonderful experience there.
