The front of house hosts, Alma and Jesse are both friendly and professional. We always manage to get our requested favorite room on the top floor, and we love Candi, who always cleans our room. This hotel is a wonderful value and you can’t beat the location. Close enough to everything, and far enough away from the hustle and bustle.

Absolutely amazing view from the balcony on the third floor. Great location, just a a short walk straight up from the ferry. My only (deal breaker) gripe is if the people next to you are chain smokers you will be inhaling their cigarette smoke all day and all night long. Staff wasn’t sure if it was allowed or not. Also staff did not care. So if you are a smoker maybe be mindful Of those that do not want to inhale your cigarette smoke while on vacation trying to get fresh air.

Hotel Ricomar was a great and reasonably priced place to stay. I will definitely return if my first choice is unavailable. The only dislikes I had, and they are minor in comparison to what is really important, is that is was a little noisy sometimes at night and there was only instant coffee available, but as I said, minor really.
