The room we had was nice but we have stayed here before so knew what to expect. Since our last visit the food has declined in standard. We had room service on the first evening, it took a long time to arrive and was cold. My husband had chicken and stated that it was tough. I had a burger which tasted sweet…As a result, we didn’t eat inside the hotel again. I had been led to believe that we were to get 20% off our food but this never happened. Another complaint I have is the limited television. There are few English channels and no ability to stream from my own devices. I did like the Chatrium app; it was useful on a number of occasions. I also think that the direct boat to Icon Siam could be more frequent. We left early because there was nowhere to eat; the cafe downstairs did not seem to be serving people.

Nice 4 night stay with family.

This stay was a 4 night break in Bangkok for a family of four (2 teenagers). We thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end. Spacious, clean and comfortable 2-bedroom suite with a fantstic river view. There was an issue with the AC in one room being a bit too noisy, which I described in the arrival questionnaire - and it was fixed with impressive speed. We had breakfast (4 of 5 stars) and lounge access - plenty of canapees and a small selection of tasty drinks.

Great hotel

Always a great stay at the Chatrium Riverside. Must have stayed at this hotel 20 plus times over the last 10 years. Never fails to impress. Staff always welcoming and happy to see me.

Best place to stay in Bangkok

My wife and I fell in love with Chatrium. It was like "Relax, breathe, we are truly happy to see you, let us take care of you" when we arrived. Next level Thai hospitality (if that is possible), Amazing views, friendliest and most accommodating staff, delicious breakfast buffet, easy access to Taxi, ferry to Icon Siam mall. Overall, just a comfortable vibe for weary travelers. Shout out to Cherlyn and Chaiphon, and many others. Things to be aware of: 36km from BKK airport (~1 hr), and the riverboat traffic could be a little noisy for early sleepers (until 9pm-ish in February).

Nice river view and unique boat ferry service to a nearby metro line. Very friendly staff and I had no single incident where I was not satisfied by their polite services.
