Good location and price.
This was an impromptu stay, and too many years since the last time so selecting a hotel wasn't too easy in regards to location, but The Queensbury looked central enough, which it is. I selected a double room, with en-suite and a seaview. The room size was sufficient for my two nights, and the bed very comfortable, plus a thermostat controlled radiator. The waste water from the en-suite is taken by a saniflow style system, the first time I have experienced one, so occasionally you can hear the system in use from other rooms. The continental breakfast is very good along with the wifi.

Very nice location and very helpful staff. The furniture bit outdated and the rooms seemed cluttered. Carpets need updating especially in staircase. Breakfast was very basic.

with a little more love, could be perfect
Staff was absolutely lovely and the location couldn’t be better. The rooms are spacious and clean but everything could use a bit of an upgrade. You can tell they’re making strides but it feels a bit superficial at best. Not good for light sleepers as every creak is heard (whether from the mattress or the other guests). Still, perfect for a short visit, especially if you want to be close to the sea!

All good, we were on the top floor but we are capable. Room was clean. No worries. Staff were friendly too.

Ripp off - very bad value for money
I was very dissatisfied with this hotel. We stayed in room 19: - dirty, run down, old carpet - non matching furniture - room was in the basement and smelly - when opening the window to the inner court an odor of the canal system of Brighton would come in - the bathroom had old equipment, the ventilation had a grey für from the dust, cracks in the wall and various shades of white from several small repairs - very hard and smelly beds The only positive two points are the very friendly staff and the convenient location. Overall I feel ripped off - it was no value for money and I honestly do not understand, why this run down hotel is offered here on the website. I felt reminded on my backpacking days when I stayed in very cheap hotels.

Charming. Perfect location. Did not interact much with staff other than check in and check out. Did not need the breakfast, so I have no comment. Room was clean and bright, view was great, internet was solid.

Only complaint was that the bed bed uncomfortable, building stuff and bags of dirty laundry in the hsll5

Very good value hotel in convenient location. Quiet and clean. Excellent continental breakfast included in the price. I wouldn't want to stay in a room that wasn't ensuite - worth checking before you book.

Needs toilets in the rooms
I appreciate the booking said there are no toilets in the rooms. But they could fit toilets in the rooms as there are now small toilets with a basin in the top.
