Perfect for a family of tourists
This was the perfect hotel for our family trip. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was large and comfortable, and the location was perfect. The staff were always willing to offer help to a family of tourists. They cleaned the rooms early for us as we had kids that needed some downtime in the afternoon which was great. And the location couldn't have been better. Minutes from most of the best attractions and close to transit and the metro to make it easy to get around. We will be back.

Great location!
The location is great, it's close to the river front and within walking distance of the magnificent Mile and Navy Pier. Rates and parking were reasonable for downtown Chicago. The weekday amenities were a wonderful surprise. When the room description says small- it is, but if you want a nice location for being out and about in Chicago, it was perfect.

Sub par
Not the first time I've been to this hotel .. this time they put me in a tiny room which wasnt the room advertised with no air conditioning. I told them , they put a fan in my room .!.. they didn't seem to care at all. Not a friendly staff. They never told me their was complementary breakfast on the 2nd floor . It seem like I wasnt welcome . Only good thing was the location. But their are 2 hotels next to it which I will be going to instead ...

Great location. What I liked the most was the coffee and snacks (including fruits) I’m the common area.

Fair 4.0 Images DO NOT reflect on the hotel
The hotel was in a great location, the lobby and the surroundings were nice. Nice feature of disposable water bottles that you fill up at your floors water station, (so don't need to pay for water bottles). However, our room was so friggin tiny, HOTELS.COM photos do not 100% reflect this hotel, it was brutal, I believe my girlfriend and I had one double bed and felt like we stayed in a prison cell, we couldn't open our window so there was nothing but stale air, and stuffiness. No air conditioner or ventilation, so we woke up feeling dry and dehydrated, I had to run the shower for 20 minutes each day to get steam in the room (unfortunately). Our allergies acted up some bad in this room. No bags for the garbage cans, we had one toilet paper roll for 3 nights and 1 Kleenex box. Overall, not impressed with HOTELS.COM and this hotel, I do not recommend.
