We spent 2 nights here before a cruise - great location within easy walking distance of Trevi fountain, Colosseum, Pantheon, etc. Very friendly staff and nice breakfast included to start the day. Would definitely stay there again!

A Gem of a Place in Rome
Caterina and Giuesspe were outstanding hosts. They went out of their way to ensure my wife and I had an A1 anniversary experience. Champagne was provided as well as a sweet congratulatory note. I would not hesitate to recommend La Papessa to any traveler. It is a diamond of a place. The restaurant just outside the front door is also so amazing. the cuisine is top notch. Our server, Roman,took great care of us.

Nice and Simple with a great Location
I had a great stay here because Catdrina (owner) was very helpful, the price, and location. You are pretty close to the Pantheon, Piazza Venezia, and Trevi Fountain, while being a 15 to 20 minute walk to the Colosseum and Spanish steps. The room was nice and simple. You are getting great value as its not a luxurious place.
